no atheists sarcastic answers. I mean like with the theology or themes, like Braveheart, The Matrix, Star Wars, Superman, anything like that.

I think the movies that remind me the most are Lord of the Rings, the Matrix and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Christ didn't write a Gospel.
There's 3 that come to mind for me: Superman Returns, Lord of the Rings and Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe

Could say the Passion, but it is way too gory. Could say the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. That is the closest represtentaion available in modern day mass marketed films.

Aside from the obvious - Passion of the Christ etc.
These deal with the Christian life - at least to me:
Groundhogs day - Live for yourself and be miserable - live a spiritual life and find satisfaction.
Castaway - Priorities. God will remove what you love from you if they become Gods. In the end he will bless you when you've humbled yourself.
Joe Vs. The Volcano - Lose your life and gain it back.
Click - Priorities again.

Field of Dreams is actually very scriptural. The main character (played by Kevin Costner) sacrifices his corn field because God tells him to. He doesn't know why it's necessary at the time, he just obeys. Everyone is laughing at him, sort of like Noah I guess, who built a boat on top of a mountain. All the while, it's really for his own benefit in the end.
If you haven't seen it, it's a beautiful movie. You don't have to be a baseball fan to watch it, there's very little to do directly with baseball.

High Noon
Sling Blade
John Q
Les Miserables
The Mission
All of these have important characters sacrificing themselves or their freedom (or at least putting their lives on the line) out of compassion. The hero in _High Noon_ finds himself alone, left to shoulder the burden of saving the whole town.

Blade-runner, when the androids eventually seek out their designer and ask him why they have only a short lifespan, they end up killing him for designing a short expiry date into them.
