I could go into a long lenth post about why, but I will try to sum it up for you. In the moment of my greatest need, when sin was a two ton load of my shoulders, God showed up. He did not come physically, but He was there, knocking at the door of my heart. The church I grew up in never worshipped Jesus, they preached about Him, but never led anyone to HIm (in their mind being saved was speaking in tongues) For that very moment, that maybe hour and a half of my lfie I understood who God was, and I knew I had a choice to make. Either accept Him, or reject Him. I didn't want to accept Him becuase I thought I had to be perfect to, so I pleaded with Him to let me make this choice later, after I quit some stuff that I knew was wrong in the eyes of Christianity. H persisted, I finally, came as I was and let Christ into my life. Ever since His word rings true to me. I was once blind, but now I see.
People can only know God and have the ability to have faith once they accept Him. I believe that in everyone's life they have one moment like the one I shared. It isn't the same with everyone, but one or more moments God reveals the truth, He overpasses the blinders of satan, and in that moment (s) one can choose. I also believe that after so many moments (or maybe just one) God no longer reveals Himself and hearts become hardened.

I believe in the Almighty God. The Bible states at Psalm 83:18, that his name is Jehovah. At 2Timothy 3:16,17 "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work." So, according to the Scriptures, Jehovah is our Grand Creator, the maker of the heavens and the earth. No man had received credit for creating the Sun, Moon, Stars, and Planets. Also, man did not know, in early times, that the Earth was round. It is wrtten in the Bible at Isaiah 40:22 "There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell." And, I believe what the Bible says, because at Hebrews 6:18 states: "It is impossible for God to lie." Yes, there is an Almighty God, our Grand Creator, that knows what is best for mankind.

At 8 yrs of age I was walking home from Sunday School and looked up at the blue sky, the colorful flowers with the sweet smell of jasmine, the magnificient sun and thought of my family. I knew there must be someone behind this wonderful creation and since realize it is the only thing that makes sense in this whole wide world.

Religion is only there to give hope to people life after death and whatnot. It did at a time have alot of power and harass people but religion has also did alot of good things in this world. In this modern we don't need religion to keep everything in order. I simply don't believe in God because there is no proof. I believe in some ulterior force controlling the Galaxy. Wait long enough and science well prove all religion wrong. If you want to believe in god you might as well believe in evil spirits angels hell heaven the exocist and whatnot. People may think they had contact with God and found faith buts its all in their mind. They only want to believe what they want to believe.

I believe in God because I have searched for him and found him. It was my desire to do so. Unless a person desires to have God in their life they will not be able to have a testimony of his existence even though they still do benefit from his goodness.

And that my young friend is the true joy of FAITH.
Faith means that you never need to prove anything. I believe in God. There doesn't have to be any proof and I never feel the need to prove God's existance to anyone. I have no doubt of God's existance, because I have FAITH.

It is commendable for you to question your own beliefs. I think that too many people just follow for the wrong reasons. Remember while you do this that your beliefs are yours alone and that this is your personal relationship with whatever you decide to be truth. No one else should have anything else to do with it. But getting information is crucial to finding your own true path. Take what others say in the same way, these are their truths so keep them in perspective. Blessed Be on your journey to finding your path.

I can only know what I have experienced through tried and tested faith. Faith isn't logical, it defies logic. Do believe that the chair you sit is will hold you? Yes, because you have tried it. Try God and see that He is good!
Jesus said in John 20:21 when he appeared after his ressurection to his disciples "You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who haven't seen me and believe anyway."
