Some airline even forget about the exterior painting while some airline have a more complex livery. for Example, NZ airline painted LOTR charaters on its airplane fuselage, Malaysia low cost carrier, Air Asia have 1 airplane painted with the Malaysian's local comic "LAT" characters on it .... Basically, the colours depends on the owner and operators, just like student wearing uniform, different from school to school, ie airline to airline.
