It could be lucky in that it was bird cr*p rather than engine from a 747 landing on yer head.

I guess its lucky because its only from a bird. You wouldn't want to get shat on by a hippopotamus, for example!

Ming you, I've never seen a hippo fly? Apparently, pigs do!

You are being 'baptised' by the god of the sky ~ a great honour.

Also, bird poo contains seeds from the fruits it has been eating and so it signifies fertility and the like.

Statues of famous people are always poo-ed on by pigeons, so count yourself lucky to be in the same company!

I have never felt lucky either. I have 4 parrots at home and never feel lucky when one of them targets you. I take it as an act of sabbotage. Its as if they are mad sometimes and fly around until they track someone down to take their anger out on. Spiteful little guys i tell ya!

My Granny always said that it was lucky that it didn't land in your mouth! Then when pressured, she said it was because it was easier to wash out of your hair than out of your clothes.

Sigh ... never understood if the same answer applied when you trod in dog poop .... that's meant to be lucky too!

It isn't lucky for you. Just the bird.

It's not lucky for the bird if I catch it afterwards.

It`s the red crap that really gets me.
It always seems to land on my car
especially when it splodges on the roof
and getting it of when dry is a real pain
not bothered about wife's washing just makes me laugh.
