how long does open silk (soy) last, on the carton it says until dec 12, i bought it in november the 1 to be exact. then in down it says 7 or 8 days. how long can you keep it opened in the fridge before it goes bad.

It should last until the date on the carton, although I've noticed sometimes it doesn't..... it does last a lot longer than milk because it's made with different properties.. but it suppose to last about a month- my son has to drink soy milk because he's allergic to regular milk, and granted he goes through it extremely fast here at the house.. it lasts longer at daycare.. they usually will keep it till the date and tell me I need to supply more... it's never spoiled

I always wonder too! I buy Silk and it just says "buy often" on it... lol. How often!!?!?
I've never had any curdle like cow milk does, so I don't really know. I've drank chocolate soymilk after about a week and a half before and it was still good, but not fresh.

Around 3 to 6 days. Gets lumpy between those days. : )

My five year old loves soymilk, and I keep it for about 10 days.

open it, smell it, and pour some out. soy milk gets lumpy and chunky when it's bad. you see lumps throw it out.
