Sockerkaka doesn't have nuts or chocolate or anything else in, so that first recipe is probably very nice, but aren't sockerkaka.
Here's a translation of the swedish recipe below, I've made this, among others, and it's pretty good.
Ingredients:
3 eggs
200gm sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar (common in sweden, if you don't have it, use dusting or icing sugar, and a couple of drops of vanilla essence)
75gm butter
100ml water
300ml flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Instructions:
butter a round tin that holds about 1 and a half liters. Put the oven on 175 (C)
Beat the egg and sugar until white and peaking with an electric whisp
Add the vanilla sugar and baking powder and mix in
Add the flour and mix gently
Melt the butter, add the water and bring to the boil. Add it to the dough and beat until you have a smooth dough. As soon as the dough is smooth, put it in the tin and directly in the oven.
Bake in the lower half of the oven at 175(C) for about 45 minutes
When done, let the cake sit in the tin for a while, then tip it upside down. Let the cake cool with the cake tin still on it.
Freezes well.
