have you any idea why your sis left maybe it wasn't her choice maybe she was forced into it maybe she couldn't face being a single parent if the boyfriend said he was leaving.
the baby is in the safest place with your parents but when your sis gets i touch you need to talk to her and find out why she left.
chances are she regrets leaving her baby and wants to come back bur she probably feels now that she cant because she knows you will all be angry with her for leaving. talk to her tell her everything will be OK and that your not angry with her and that you want to help and support her because you love her.
I'm sure she really does want to come back and be with her baby she is probably feeling very over whelmed at the moment and doesn't know which way to turn.
good luck to you all.

Give her some time. She could just be overwhelmed right now and she needed to get away. She did have the right of mind to leave the baby with your parents so the baby is in the hands of responsible caring people. It's best that she did it this way and didn't take it out on the baby because she couldn't handle the pressure of being a parent right now.

At least she left the baby some place safe - she's obviously not ready to be a parent, and the baby's probably better off. It's not fair to your folks though, they didn't really get a vote in this - they didn't get to choose whether to have another baby, and now they're left with a huge responsibility.

Well, this is a good thing, It was better for her the leave her baby with someone she knew would love and protect and take care of her baby. Maybe at this point in time of her life she knew she was unable to provide such care for her child. Sometimes mothers do walk away from their children, for the children. This does not mean she does not love her baby, this may just be what she thought was best for her child. Sometimes parents have to set aside there own feelings to do what is best for their children.

Hopefully she went to the mall ... right ...
If not, she just wasn't mature enough to "be the parent" and she has enough love and respect for your parents to ask for the help she needed in raising the baby.
You are very lucky to have such parents.
One day the sister will grow up a bit .... give her the space she needs & hope for the best.
Hey Your an Aunt ! Congrats !

My brother ex girlfriend brought their 4 year old to my mom and left him with her because she was moving here and there and we knew she had alot on her mind trying to find a place for him too so he his with my mom. That is his best thing right now until she can get her life back right.Just give her time hopefully she will see that her baby will need her and she will need it one day.

I think its for the better, sounds like she is not ready to be a mom, or maybe she is denial right now about being a new mom, just be thankful she left the child where she knew it wold be safe, cause it sounds like she can not provide for that innocent child that did not ask to be born.

Your sister will have to pay for the consequences later when she is all alone. My friends mother also left her when she was little. After few relationships that went sour. The mother now desperately wants to rekindle the relationship with my friend who is all grown. Even though my friend is willing to try, but since they never had the bonding, it was just hard for my friend to accept this strange lady as her mother. Please warn your sister of this outcome to see if she is prepare to face.

Its for the best. She probably feels like its too much for right now and wants her freedom.. But as long as she left them with your parents its so far the best thing and smartest thing that she's done...
