Just wondering. It seems like every time I ask a question about "do you believe this about God" I get angry people telling me I'm dumb to believe in God. I don't; I'm just curious about what other people believe.

No no, I'm saying I *don't* believe in God. I guess I just ask questions in a way where you can't tell...I don't ever try to tear anyone's beliefs down. I just like to know about them.

No, I don't automatically assume a person who asks about God believes in God. I assume this is a person who wants to know about God. The fact you ask at all, tells me you doubt there is no God, and are willing to explore there really is a God.

I do believe in God, I always have and I always will. I look at life with all of its intricacies, diversity and complexity, and i just can not accept we came to be on Earth any other way than by the Hand of God. There are just to many "just happens to be" to say evolution, and not God's creativity put life on Earth.

If someone asks a question about God, I generally assume they don't believe in/know/understand God.

I have to agree with Rev Red Mage

People who say that youre dumb to believe in god are also very lazy not to mention hypoccritical

Because they wont bother to write down a proper answer but rather lash out and get 2 points easily. Simple as that.

Dont let it bother you.

I don't think someone believes in God automatically if they ask a question about Him. In fact, I am overjoyed that people who don't believe in God will ask questions about Him (asking not making some asinine point)

i find it intriguing that you ask so many questions about someone you don't believe exists. the bible says that God seeks each one of us out, he is not willing for any of his creation to perish, but for all to have eternal life. we were created to know our creator. i wonder if this is why you are curious about what others believe.
to answer your question though, i don't ever assume that when someone asks a question about God they believe in God. i believe that they are searching.

This happens all the time. Unfortunately there are narrow minded people who will not allow others to believe differently from themselves. They tend to forget that in all religions the commitment is not a public one but a personal one that has nothing to do with them.

No, I have friends which both believe in God, some that don't atall or are a little questionable.. Most of them still have a curiousity about religion, its just taking interest in another lifestyle & stuff, isnt it?

No, I feel the person is curious and possibly seeking for some answers.
Man was created to worship God, and man is always seeking God. Some get sidetracked with astrology, and the occult, but every man seeks God.

You're not dumb to believe in God. Personally, I find the BELIEF to be irrational, but that doesn't make YOU irrational. Those who are telling you that you're dumb because you believe in God are being somewhat hypocritical... judging with no reason to judge.

well rational though would say, if you ask a question about God you want people who believe in God to answer, but then again, with many of these atheists, logic has never been their strong point
