Cane Corso. This is a huge dog - up to 140 pounds and nearly 3 feet tall.

It's basically a hunting and farm dog, but has a companionable side, and is said to be loyal and protective.

Descended from Roman war dogs. So it should have a name that goes with all this - a strong name...Ajax, maybe.

Okay... Kalikute... A King Corso is a big dog breed. And so is Cane Corso.

And a good name would be

~ Some of the above. I've looked at them, and they are really cool!

~ Buffy is a cute and cool name, fits both girl and boy dogs.

Im sorry, i can't think of any good names for a corso right now. But again, I'm sure you will get alot of good ideas from the above.

Good luck with youre doggie, and I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with him/her.

I went to look up Cane Corso as I wasn't sure what one looked like.

Found a lot of lovely images ...

a giant black one who looked like a Mike
a brindle girl who looked like a Mable
and a little caramel toffee puppy who just begged to be called Gunga Din

Though it does say that they are Italian Guarddogs - so maybe:
Dino, Drago, Marco or Rocco for a boy
or
Bambi, Carina, Mia or Trilby for a girl

Though I still like Gunga Din, lol.
What colour is yours & is it a boy or girl?

if this dog is descended from Roman war dogs, it should have a strong manly name like......Caesar, Brutus, Zeus, Socrates, Othello, Olympus, Hippocrates, Attila, Napolean, Alexander the Great, Marc Anthony, Goliath, David, Soloman, Moses, Aaron, Pharoah, Richard the Lion-hearted, Robin Hood, Prince Valiant, Rommel, Rocky...think of manly names from history, literature and movies and books....assuming the dog is male ??!! hope this helps you find a good name...let us know in your best answer, what name you chose !!
