I'm sleeved both arms, individual tattoos, all have meaning, different stages in my life, good, bad or indifferent. it's taken over 35 years to do this and have had only 2 artists. Having a tat or two is one thing, but a sleeve throws you into a whole different realm, it's a lifer so choose well. It's a sub-culture if you want email me and I can hook u up with some really good Ideas, toss a few of your thoughts at me and i will produce something for you. Especially if you don't want any of these cutesy ideas that your getting from most of these people answering...........remember being tattooed is a trend now thats what really sux about it....trendy ideas don't last....but the whole imaginative art does.........it's wild and sexy....I drove a chick 387 miles to turn her on to an artist, and there on every corner here, but I knew this guy would be good.4 her......and he was..........and she hasn't shut up in 2 years..about the experience .....lol......it starts on her left shoulder and ends on her right ankle........serious email me.....you'll be happy...promise

I have a vine of ivy that starts high on my hip and then curves down with my body . And then low on my other hip I have a fleur di lis because im from New Orleans.
But I want a white swan tattoo somewhere on my body, i want it to be tribal like. I just havent decided where to put it yet.
but i also have 2 other tattoo that are there for medical reasons (well really cosmetic) from a skin graft. I always count them when someone asks how many tattoos I have.

I love flowers, so I have hawiian flowers wrapped around my ankle, I am in the process of one on my back that has three flowers with tribal inbetween (in a V shape), and I have a tattoo that wraps around my entire waste...I would classify it as tribal. I also have a couple of chinese characters, and my very first tattoo says Daddy's Girl with a rose on both sides.
Let me know if you want some pictures to get some ideas. I like to look online (just type in tattoos in yahoo, and do an image search---or you can do specific tattoo types-flowers, tribal, etc)

Thats probably true, I have 7 tattoos and I don't care what anyone thinks about it, I have seen judgement in peoples eyes and even had someone ask me why I had them, and that they had no meaning, all my tattoos have meaning to me, and they are just closed minded, so I gave the meaning of each one and they though that made sense, but they are still closed minded, not a judgement, just an observation.

Sleeves are definately cool. They look awesome on the right person. for my mom's 50th birthday she wanted to get another tattoo. So I went and ended up just getting a randomn tattoo also. I ended up with a butter fly and a baby butter fly tattooed on my leg a couple inches above my ankle. It was too high up and looked ridcioulous so i went back and got vines and black lines going up my calf and down to my ankle on the top and bottom of the butter fly. The vines are dark green. I am planning on going and getting a few little flowers closer to the butterflies. My mom got a dragonfly tattooed on her wirst, small but cute. The other tattoo she has is a vampire bit on her neck along with blood drops going down her chest, its pretty awesome on her.

I have a monkey, a shooting star, an abstract design of geometric shapes (for a UV ink tattoo) and a heart entwined with the infinity symbol.
My next tattoos are going to be an angel/devil idea of sorts, a tarot card and a daisy tattoo (memory of my momma).
I hope you find what you are looking for. If you need more ideas, go to bmezine.com and look around.

i have a guardian angel sleeve around my upper right arm.
I had it done at a tatooists in Nottingham which i would highly reccomend called Bodycraft.
The guy who did mine works by free-hand so the art work you get done is truely unique and original.
I also have a tribal symbol type tatoo on my left shoulder which i had done in New Zeland by traditional printing methods (tapping a sharp wooden stick with ink on the end into the flesh)
Its my faviourite and if your ever there get one because its the only way to have a REAL tatoo a top experience (hurt like hell though!!!!!)
Hope this mite help you and good luck with your next piece hope its something you can love

I have an Eastern dragon coming from a lotus blossom on the left half of my back, the lotus blossom is growing from avines that go right down my left hand side over my ribs to my hip and are swirling in mist.
The i have the phrase 'mortui vivo docent' written across my lower abdomen in a fancy script (my most recent tattoo) a small tribal style gecko on my right hip. They are all in black/grey. I have a small styalised letter 'S' on my left ankle in red.
I plan to get the rines extended down my left leg and gradualy have them turn red and mingle in with the 'S' design, but im saving my money for that.

My first tattoo is an armband on my left arm, with three love hearts, connect with a vine of leaves. Above it I have my sons name "Bennett" written in cursive writting. There is enough room above for any other children I have.
My second is a medieval leo symbol on my back just underneath the neck line. This is a round black medal, with two goldy ropes around the edge. In the middle is my leo symbol in the same goldy tones as the ropes.
Yet to have done -
A red rose with a name band around it saying "Quokka". Above the rose will be a yellow halo, to symbolise my grandfather that passed away recently.
A butterfly with tiger eyes in it on my right arm.
A black cat with butterfly wings on my left ankle.
Paw prints as an anklet on my right ankle.
