When you're cooking at home, you have time to linger and actually savor it. The cook in the restaurant doesn't, and it's even worse in a fast-food place.

I've seen little poems about how love is added to the food at home. And while technically that is just a poetic reference, I do like to think that is making the difference.

food cooked in larger quantities is made for the masses.
Home cooked food is cooked with love and tender care
And we always want the best for our loved ones.
I for one, will always take my time and effort to cook, even if its just eggs and sausages 4 breakfast
I always use the freshest ingredients and have a watchful eye over my cooking - that is one of the most important things. Take out food is made by people who are just doing their jobs. When some1 is cooking for family or friends they do it out of the sole pleasure of making someone happy.
and also eating with yr loved ones is pleasing on the mind so it makes the food taste better.. dont you think ??

:))))

Well I think because it is made from real food and fresh rather than frozen or pre-made in batches. It sounds silly but the caring and love from the person making the food also adds something to the food and makes it taste better.

quantity, simplicity, and familiarity are the ingredients of home-cooked food which you could not find in restos and fast foods coz, they cook in large quantities, stuff the food with loads of decorative (which you dont like to eat anyway), and season it according to a general flavor (forgetting the fact that customers have varied sets of taste buds).

Because it's made with love by you for someone, or someone else for you. It's a comfort thing. Restaurant cooks don't know you, and might even not see who they prepare food for.

Sorry i don't think it's anything to do with being made from love, lol.
I'm sure it's the fresh ingredients and lack of additives and preservatives that make it taste better.
