I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 - turn signals have been acting funny for a month or so - sometimes they freeze in mid-flash. Well this morning they stopped working all together - the signals outside don't light up and the display inside doesn't light up. The hazards still work fine, however. Is this just my turn signal switch/module?

If the hazards still work fine I would have to say you have a problem at the switch in the steering column. I had this same problem in a Ford F150. Can't figure why it's not blowing fuses though.

Had the same problem with my 1991 Ford Tempo. It's an easy fix -- not the fuse, it's the relay that makes the turn signal go on and off. Take it in to your nearest Jeep dealer and tell the guys in the Parts deparment what's wrong. They'll pull out a new relay for you (if they have one in stock) and they'll tell you where you can find it -- usually up under the dashboard somewhere below the steering wheel.

its your flasher relay and you can ONLY buy it from the dealer. been there, done that.

ive read the other answers and it is the relay, just fixed a jeep with the same problem 3 weeks ago and tried to use an aftermarket relay, didnt work, go to the dealer, as a jeep owner, i have to visit those rape artists often

been there, it's your fuse, it's probably round on your fuse box. my ram van did it and my station wagon did. shouldn't be too expensive to replace
