i split up with my bf 1 week ago and he moved in with his mam, he said we werent gonna get back together, but he txt me last night and said he missing me and our dog. is he just messing with my head or does he want me back?? or am i just wishfull thinking??
im so much in love with him hate not being with him...

I agree with speedncigarettes. A relationship is hard to let go of. You have to say goodbye to your best mate, your way of life, things you'd planned together, loads of ****.
And he probably is missing you, it would be strange if he didn't, but that doesn't mean he wants your relationship to continue.
I don't like to say it but i don't think he's trying to mess with your head. He's just not thinking about your head. He's thinking about his.
If he really had your best interests at heart he'd let you move on or admit he'd made a mistake and try everything to get you back!!
It is a really hard thing to go through and you have my total sympathy. I hope you've got loads of good mates rallying around you and keeping you busy.

He might be missing you because he's living with MOM! I couldn't stand to live with my Mom, she's irritating to NO END, but you know what? Maybe he's sorry for the break up. It is still new, only having been a week. Invite him over, make a nice meal, and talk. I have broken up with my boyfriend about 20 xs at least, and once we saw each other again, we re-bonded, inside us knowing there was no one else for each other than he for me, and I for him. I think he loves you, as you love him. Don't make a mistake by not trying to rectify whatever may have gone wrong. Good luck to you.
PS I think he probably text messaged you because he is nervous at this stage about your reaction. That is just fine what he did, it seems to me he does indeed miss you...and the dog

It really depends. Give it time. The sudden change may have him missing what he had but whether or not its what he wants is different. I know after coming out of a 3 year relationship i did miss it for the first few months, but it became clear to me i was only upset because it was a massive change to my life. & sometimes change is good. Over time he may realise that you are what he wants or he may not. If not there are many fish in the sea. I hope everything works out for you.

He messaging with your head like all men do, they mess with you head by said something that they know that you want to here because they realize that they are lonely and they need you more than ever. He realize that he probably made a mistake with breaking up with you and wants to get back with you, but he probably wants to get back with you to have sex with you or he wants something from you for a little amount of time.

i guess he has realized how much u mean to him aftr break up,but dont believ him fully as he said u both cant b back 2gether,,,i dont know watz d reason bhind ur split up,so u shd know whethr u want him back or not,juz think of wat relation u had wid ur bf,was it gud or memorable,do u think d moments u spent wid him were amazing,& u cant 4get him,then u must talk to him... or i guess he wants to again,&if u trust him,go for it, & mak sure n know first u can hv split up agin,so better remove alll misunderstandings & know each othr perfectly well then give him a chance if he really want u back.

He said he is missing you not he wants you back, He could still be healing, so until he expresses interest in mending the realtionship I wouldn't give it a second thought.
