This is something that others really can't answer for you. It is something that is truly a personal decision. I will true to offer some advice though. I had a best friend who told me this "After searching for bras and paying tons of money for them. Have back problems so bad I had to sleep on my stomach with pillows surrounding me. I had problems sitting for a long period of time. I finally decided to operate." She is a student as well and she has no health insurance. The doctor she was going to was very willing to help. Not only did he help her fill out papers to get assistance, but he performed the operation on a monthly plan. If you are going to do this PLEASE research and find a good doctor. Not one of those knife happy doctors. I hope you figure out what you want to do. By the way, after the reduction my friend had a child, and even though her breast did grow, they reduced to normal size after a while. She is doing fine, spending less on bras, and sleeping better.

ooooh this is a tough one. i usually think its best to leave your body the way it was meant to be. but, this is different. its causing you serious problems. i would never suggest someone having a breast enlargement, but ive never heard of anyone i know having a reduction. if this is really hurting you inside and out you have to do what you think is best. i hope you feel better whatever your choice may be.

one thing you may consider is strengthening your lower back and abs, this could correct the problem. many people who have back problems (i helped my mom with this cuz she was a lil overweight and also had large breast) feel like a whole new person after a month of back exercises.

this is just a secondary choice if you dont wish to have a reduction. strengthening your lower back and abs will improve posture and greatly reduce stress on your back.

The decision is yours but I believe that your quality of life would change for the good if you could get the breast reduction.
A whole new world would open up for you. Your back problems would end. You would be able to buy clothes that fit.
Talk to your parents about it. Some plastic surgeons will allow you to pay it out if it is for health reasons vs cosmetic.
Good Luck.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have heard many stories from women that complain of their chest being too big and having back pains arising from such. I can't really give you any professional advice other than to seek additional information from a reliable source...like a doctor. As for payment methods, that again is something that you must arrange. Talk to your family, and see what they have to say. Approach your mother, because she would most likely be the one that would understand you more. Good luck.

Yes, for sure do it! If you are unhappy with yourself and it is causing you physical pain also, why not. Can you honestly think of any reason not to do it? God made you beautiful and you can always accept that, but if you were diabetic wouldn't you want to find some kind of medicine to make you feel better? You would not only feel better physically, but you would have more confidence. People would talk to your face instead of your chest. :) Good luck!

My aunt was a double-D. She had them reduced to a B, and is loving every minute of it. She no longer has any back problems, and she is now more active because she feels better.

I would do it in a hearbeat. I'm not in that boat, so if you want, you can give some of it to me, but just a little bit. . . :)

I have known a few people who have had reductions done. All agree that it was the best decision they had ever made
