Is this a bad thing?

When you tell your guy you love him and all he says is um hum, or you don't love me; is that a bad thing? Does he not love you back?

Well he doesn't love u "yet" or he would have said it back for sure. It doesn't mean he won't fall in love with u, some people just take longer to feel that than others. Give it time and my advice is not to say it again until he says it first, then u will know his words are real and not just forced to spare your feelings. So instead of telling him u love him with words, show it through actions. When the time is right and he is really feeling it he will say it. In a way its good he didn't say it back, because he obviously wouldn't have meant it at the time, so now when he does say it u will know it's true. But for now just let your heart express your words, and not your mouth. I wish the best for u. :-)

Well maybe, but not all mens are welling to say that until they are ready and that is a good thing, but if you feel that way truly about him talk to him about it, but don't rush him to say it epedctly if he don't mean it, yea it may hurt because you told him you love him and he didn't say it back, but at lease he's being trueful with you.
Cause it would hurt bad if he told you he loved you and didn't mean it and hurt you.

Or he doesn't love you and says um-hum instead,
