i wouldnt give them another chance to mess up. get some sorta refund if poss n by all means have extensions but they are high maintenance and dificult to straighten at the back.ive had them twice an love em but visit the salon at least once a week.expect t pay £500 plus for good ones.they work best if your own hair is straight.ideally have a good cut and condition at a salon that excels in extensions then go for it.you will feel brill.good luck

Sorry your trip to the salon wasnt the best. I have never had extensions but many people say they do damage your hair. They might be alright for a few weeks, but after a while they lead to bald patches. But what I would suggest is going for another cut. Cutting your hair into a bob is very 'in' right now. Victoria Beckham ditched her extensions for a bob, and many other people have done the same.

Sorry to hear that happened to you! What a nightmare!
Iv had hair extensions in for the last 2 years and they are now starting to take their toll a bit.My own hair has deffinatly got thinner!
If you are just having them in long enough to correct what they messed up then im sure your own hair will be fine!I no lots of people that have them in every now and then and i havent heard of any one complain that they have ruined their hair!
Racoon system is the ones that i have in so it might be a good idea to check out what system the hair dressers use and research that a bit!!
Good luck x

Sue the salon! They should be held responsible for ruining your hair, further handling might make the condition worse.
They should've evaluated your hair type before treatment. You should've been advised beforehand what possible damage/s our hair would suffer and you should've been advised for futher conditioning treatment.
But damage has already bee done. Make the necessary move so as to save others from what you went through!

If they messed up your hair once with just dyeing and cutting then who knows what they are going to do with your hair when you get extentions. In my advise I would say no, since you have such a bad experience with them. If you wants extension go to this web site it has extension and it's really easy to put on, it's not heavy either, looks natural and not to expensive. Make sure to see the video on how they put it on, oh yeah, they also have all types of colors. Good Luck! https://www.hairextensions.com/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=4

i was previously a hairdersser and have had extensions my self, it all depends on what type they are going to do.... i advise you get them swen in (called waving) they brid the hair and simply sew in the extensions, this means no glue or donder and will not destroy you hir, u usually have temp ones now as i used to have my hair beaded)little bits of glue at the root and the hair glued in really bad for you hair) this was i can take em out wash my hair and style it then simply CLIP back in. from the sounds of it you have pretty wild hair so i think this would be a better option for you. hope this helps

You think your hairs bad now, after extentions, it will be worse. Celebs who have had them like Victoria Beckham have said they thinned and weakened their hair resulting in them having their hair cut short. A friend of mine has also had the same problem after having her extentions removed. I'm sure there are other solutions to your hair problems... I hope you find one.

Extent ions will ruin your hair only if they are glued in. The best method is sewing in the extensions.

the glued in ones can ruin your hair, the sewn in ones grow out really fast my fave are the clip ins and the dont do no damage at all to your hair :) if they only do glued or sewn in ask them for the money to buy these....
