Yes it is, but you have to send it back to the company. There is an error with the lens, its most likely a mechanical error. Do not try and fix it yourself, it will just break more. I suggest getting a hold of the company at the website below.

I have an A205 in the manual it just say; "Turn off and on again being sure not to touch the lens". "If the problem persists contact your FUJIFLIM dealer". :-(
You may try to see if there dirt around the lens also I not sure. It may have something sticky on it, not sure how to best clean that. Wish I knew more.
The problem with having one fixed is the cost invovled. We need to consider this as to jusy buying a new camera. I got lucky with mine as Best Buy was getting rid of them and I only paid about $60 for it. Wish now I would have bought two at that price and put one back for a later day.
