I doubt it. But if you prayed aloud to it or for it, that might work. You know, the whole talking to plants thing.

I would venture to guess that prayer is a bit too much for the bonsai tree, thinking God has more pressing issues on his agenda. Happy tree growing.

No. In fact a study on the effects of prayer on the outcome of heart surgeries (IIRC) found that the only discernible effect was an increase in complications if the sick person knew they were being prayed for. (Knowing that people thought they were that bad off likely caused a bit of worry & stress.)

Prayer works when you pray a. in faith b. in the name of the son, Jesus Christ c. when it is a rightious cause and d. when you truly believe your prayer will be answered.

I think you do not understand.

Prayer is about praying for what you do have. Thanking him. It is not about greediness. It is about thanking him and possible to help someone else who is struggeling.
