You need to go try them out..everyone has different preferences...I LOVE my pillowtop...Verlo is the best brand I have used. My mother swore by them and so do I....but you really need to go to a few showrooms and lay on them for a while.

I have a california king size serta pillowtop. It never needs flipping.I've had it for 5 yrs and is still as new. It was about $11-$1200.00 & was a birthday present. Nowhere on it is uncomfortable. When I have company I go to a guest bedroom and allow my company to sleep on this fabulous mattress. Next morning they ask-What kind & where did you get it? I got it at my local furniture store.
I did work for a retail furniture store. I had to go to workshops for different distributors & one was for mattresses.
What I found out-the places advertised as Matress Outlet-Factory Mattress Outlet & more I could name--they are over runs of the big companies and even greater discounts. They are mostly in simple white coverings, some not. I do suggest you take time to shop at these 1st. Don't wait for them to ask, lay down on them, wiggle around and test them.
The link below will take you to many different mattress websites.

The ideal mattress would be 4 inches thick and 6 ft long and 3ft 6 inch wide and filled with the cotton. The cloth to prepare the bed should be in satin or fine cotton. You can get this manufactured.

Sleep Number beds are THE BOMB. I will NEVER buy another bed. I can adjust the firmness depending on health, workout routines, and mood. LOVE IT!

Memory foam. Just got one and I love it. Firmer than you would think, but NO pressure points. Wal-Mart has the best prices.
