I see a lot of the answers say you are too young and not to worry about it. I think you wouldn't have bothered asking the question if it wasn't important to you. There are always reasons we want something and those reasons may not be the best motivation ( like peer pressure or feeling overly needy to have a boyfriend) but sometimes in the end it doesn't matter what the reasons are... we are still left with wanting it. I find in the end a person will get what they want the most, whether it is the right guy or the wrong guy. Why is it you are looking for the 'right' guy. Have you met lots of guys but you simply dont click with any of them? I am afraid my best advice not knowing the circumstances may sound very 'cheesy' to you. I only suggest it to you because it has worked for me many times and in a shockingly acurate and quick way. If you don't beleive what I am going to say than fine but if you try this be warned that it works - you must be open to it working however. << Meditate >> on exactly what you want. You must be very positive about it, not negative. Here is my suggestion: Speak to the Universe. There is energy out there and it will give you what you want but you must ask for it and accept it when it comes. You can say " Thank you Universe for sending me the perfect boyfriend, I accept this precious gift" Repeat this several times. Do it everyday at the same time like a ritual.

You might find that the older you get the more your preferences for "the right guy" might change. But since you are looking for someone right now, I would suggest that you see who you have available to you and who could be the best match; for instance, are you in any coed groups or activities, like drama or art-class? These guys share your interests and give you something already in common. Try looking for the "right guy" around the people you hang out with and within your interests; however, don't put too much effort into it because, like I mentioned earlier, the older you get the more different your preferences might get.

first of all youre too young to meet the perfect guy. even if you do meet some guy, it may seem all perfect, but there will come a time when this will come crashing down on you. im telling you this through experience.. i guess we're too young to realise that its not our age to fall in love and meet the right guy..all we need is a friend.
you may find a guy who will claim that he loves you n stuff but eventually you will come to know that he just wants to get inside your clothes and nothing else.i would therefore advice you to make friends first that is u should find a best friend(guy) and then give it a shot to try to make things work.
love after friendship is much more stronger than friendship after love.

You don't worry about it. You live your life, have fun, and when the time is right you'll know it. Don't focus on that now or you will make yourself miserable. Your only 16, you don't even know who you are as a person, much less what you want in a guy.

The Answer you are looking for it's in your own Heart, the right man does not exist. specially now a days... all men want it's the benefits of taken advantage of you.
Enjoy life to the fullnes, don't look for marriage until the time it's right, and if you are dating, to commit to something that you will regret later.

You'll know when you find the right guy your heart will tell you, you can't plan to find him. When you find a guy you can't be around without smiling, and when your going out with him for over like 6 months then you might know.

thats a good question but then you got to really think about it. you are only 16 you got time to figure out some things. but think about what typ eog guy you want and stuff like that. just dont grow up too fast

U can't just 'MEET' him. He'll come around. Every1 has there special some1 somewhere near them......u just haven't realized it yet. Go out and meet new ppl........ U never no. Ur guy might be siting rite next 2 u in Math! GOOD LUCK!

You're still in the kiddie pool honey. There's no rush. Enjoy what you have around you. Make friends, date, have fun, take notes. It will all come in handy when you're ready to swim with the sharks later.
