SUNDAY is holiday everywhere in Pakistan. At some places, you get Saturday off too. So weekend is like anyother western country - Saturday and Sunday.
About 5-6 years back it use to be thrusday and friday as many Islamic countries have. But now Pakistan has changed.

pakistan used to have holiday on friday and saturday 5-6 years back...
but now saturday and sunday are observed as public holidays.. so weeked starts friday night..!

Sundays are off in all Governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Some organizations, schools etc observe saturday as a holiday too.

every one will expec friday is holiday....,
but sunday and friday are holidays..............
and as friday for them is just like sunday for us
so i conclude thursday is weekend................
