Forest Green velvet from Pier One

But one year I uses pale pink satin (Jo Ann's Fabrics) and did the tree w/pink & silver balls and silver strands of ribbons it was superb

I don't change my curtains & drapes for the seasons. The colors stay the same year round.

Most of the windows in my home don't have drapes anyways. Only blinds. I enjoy the openess of the windows without any bother of decorating and coverings with fabrics.

I don't have the time or energy to change the drapes/ curtains for the holidays. It's hard enough getting the decorations out and about.
