i have a nokia 6131
it does not run on symbian, so i can not install .sis files
i can only run .jar applications
Is there a way to read pdf files on my phone?

Unfortunately, there is no J2ME version of the Adobe reader software. I think it is likely that one will not be developed now as most of Nokia's newer models are S60 which can run the SIS version of Adobe reader.

One option might be to try to search for the document you want to read via Google on your cell phone. If you can find it, Google often adds an option of 'View this PDF as HTML'... which is something you could definitely read on your phone.

Not much of a solution, I'm afraid, but it's a possible workaround.

i dont think u can read pdfs on a cell yet. on a pda possibly but i know ppl with blackberrys and treos that cant even get pdfs and open them
