It's high time that Haggard and all of these self-righteous, intolerant, bigoted hypocrites are exposed. At least, now the truth is finally "OUT"!

I don't celebrate the failings of even those who stand on the opposite side of issues I consider important, such as marriage rights for gay citizens, but it wouldn't surprise me to find that Rev. Haggard is a hypocrite. At the moment, he's simply stepped down, accused of hypocrisy. I will consider him innocent until he admits it himself or the pending investigation concludes that the allegations are true.

Poetic justice? Yes, somewhat. Everyone hates a hypocrite.

What amazes me are some of the Christians on this site Supporting this man without even knowing what is going on! "Oh, he's a Christian, he wouldn't do that". Yeah right. And then they have to wonder why all us heathens act as if Christians should be PERFECT. If they would quit acting like they could do no wrong, we probably wouldn't point it out like we do now.

On Haggard, I don't care if he was doing a gay prostitute. I DO care about how hypocritical it is, IF he was doing those things.

It's not at all uncommon for people to lash out with particular ferocity at their own shadow material. That's why Ted Haggard being outed as a self-loathing closet case comes as no surprise to me at all.

I personally think it is sad that a reverend was having realtions with any prostitu te much less a gay one. But if the gay went under cover so to speak and was able to hise their gender then they are guilty of a very nasty deception. It is sad what our society is coming to.

accused is one thing and conviction is another. in the U.S. a person is innocent until proven guilty or at least this is what I was taught in school.
