was trying to copy a file (.mpg) and got a message 'cannot copy file....file too deep' what could be wrong and what can i do??? thanks

file too deep indicates that your path name is more than the set amount of characters. just do this - copy the mpg file to your c:\ drive. then move it from there to the usb drive.

the path of where the file is is too long for the flash drive to read......try moving the file to a shorter address (i.e. instead of something like c:\documents and settings\user\my documents\saved\pictures\Idaho\day one\see this\file)
Move it the Desktop or create a new folder on the root drive (c:\new folder) and try that.

sounds like your outta room....try deleting some stuff (and emptying trash after deleting) then try copying file again
