Vulnerability is when you at risk of coming to harm for example, an elderly person who has heart problems, someone who is particularly gullible, someone who may need taking care of at times.

Emotional vulnerability is the same thing but to do with emotions.
It usually means that the person is sensitive either genetically or because of things that have happened to them. If you are emotionally vulnerable you are at risk perhaps from depression when emotional things become too much.
It's possible for a person to be emotionally vulnerable just for a set period of time, eg. bereavement

Hope this helps

Women are emotional and vulnerable at times due to hormonal changes in the body. But many are just plain sensitive to everything which might be the effect of fear or low self-esteem.

Vulnerability in me is a result of my insecurity's. If you notice that someone isn't confident about something, if they are self-conscience about it or defensive, well that's probably their vulnerability, they can be easily wounded in that area.
