I would much rather deal with the Mexican population than have to deal with what the UK deals with. Don't you think that the Mexican population is more docile than what the UK is getting? (Yes, I know. No one likes illegal but that's not the question.)

Hmmm ... yes and no ....

The United Kingdom has a large population of muslims, mainly from what was once part of the British Empire ... untold millions from Pakistan for example ... the majority of them are peaceful, but there's no doubt they are on a mission to take over the country ... and with the influx of the Eastern European countries into the European Union, Britain will also have to deal with any number of Romanians, Bulgarians and Polish people ... all out to create a "better life" for themselves ...

It won't be long before Britain, as we know it, will be but a fond memory, and it's all due to spineless governments who are desperately afraid of not being PC enough ....

We don't have the same problem in the U.S. YET ... but give it another few years of unhindered illegal immigration, and we'll soon be there ... as another respondent pointed out, it really is only a matter of time ....

As for the Mexican population being docile ... well, don't know about that ... it's not in their interest and in their religion to murder "infidels", granted ... but they're not above destroying this country with gangs and illegal drug smuggling, not to mention taking over office ... appears to me that what they want to achieve with this mass invasion is not so much to become part of the United States, but rather make the United States a part of Mexico ... give it time, and that will be achieved. In years to come, you will indeed still be able to live here, and work, as long as you speak Spanish and do the jobs the Mexicans won't do ... :) The United States will have become a Third World country of course, but nobody seems to be willing to look that far ahead ...

Say goodbye to good quality education, healthcare and a pension ... and if you're a blue collar worker, say goodbye to even having a job ... and if you're not, chances are your job will be outsourced ...

Personally I think it's sad to see traditional Western cultures go down the drain, but that's inevitable if we continue on the same course ... I think the Canadians had better look out, because it won't be long before sh*t hits the fan up there ... I foresee an influx of disgruntled Americans, followed by another influx of Latinos, who by then will be tired of not being able to cream off the by then non-existent welfare system in the United States, and will look to creaming off the Canadian welfare system ...

But hey, why worry, main thing is that people can go and live where they like, uncontrolled and unhindered, right?

Well, I live in the UK, in one of the mos mixed areas of Manchester, and I don't recognise the picture painted by Colin above. I recognise that he has had some very negative experiences, but I am surprised in that the Muslim populaton of Scotland is very small. I think only Glasgow has a substantial community, but even there it is small compared to the White population.

Of course, for many many years, Glasgow has been the victim of another kind of ethnic tension, the Green-Orange Catholic-Protestant thing.

Where I live, 40% are Muslims, people pretty much rub along OK, of course there are always some idiots, as you find everywhere.

Most people do live within the laws of the country, even if they don't always agree with them, that's democracy, and that's the difference between the UK or US, and the dictatorships we largely support in the Middle East, that deny freedoms to everyone, including non-Muslim foreigners.

As for the States, I can't really comment as I haven't lived there, but in general I think America is more open to immigrants and the idea of people improving themselves by their own efforts, I think that's good. I don't believe that most of the Americans that post here on Immigration are representative of their country, because if they were the US would be well on the way to becoming a Nazi state; whatever I think of Bush, he isn't Hitler.

I think yes I personally would rather deal with illegal aliens that are a known quantity ,but I'm not so convinced on the docile part to describe them There are many militant people from Mexico and some very violent gangs that are comprised of illegal aliens.Do not get too comfortable with any one that is illegal from any country. They still hold allegiance to their home country .
A lot of angry Americans are waiting for a reason,a catalysts to start an all out civil war and right now it wouldn't take much to set it off.

remarks like this
"We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party

and this
"If anyone's going to be deported, it's going to be you! ... Get out! We are the future. You're old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you – leave like beaten rats. You old white people, it is your duty to die. Right now, we're already controlling those elections, whether it's by violence or nonviolence. Through love of having children we're going to take over." Augustin Cebada, information minister of Brown Berets, militant para-military soldiers of Aztlan shouting at U.S. citizens at an Independence Day rally in Los Angeles.

This makes a lot of Americans angry, and
why shouldnt it??

I agree totally. At least the Mexicans are Christian and Westernized.

What's happening in the UK, and the rest of Europe, is just the first taste of things to come. As the native populations continue to decline, being replaced by Islamic immigrants, friction is going to increase.

Now is the time to get out.

I agree that people can live where they want as the world is for all humans too, but I left the UK because I was a minority in Scotland. I could not get work anywhere and the racial tension was at the boiling point. It is sad when you allow jerks into the country to free them from dictators, and to give them a good life. Then the bastards start to dictate to you "via your own laws" that you are wrong and should abide by their whims and complaints and I was not allowed to celebrate Christmas in my own school or say the Lords prayer, due to the insults that these so called immigrants were bitching about as it was not their belief, yet they drop their damned capet on the floor and bow to the east and wail like cats in heat and we have to respect that in our schools. I think you need to live in the UK to get a taste of the crap that these so called new citizens are like. Mark my words, once they get a foot in the door in your area you will soon see the other side of the coin as we did after allowing them into the UK and now look at it over there. Sad but true and I am not a discriminating person at all, so do not even go there if you are thinking I am. I just seen it and lived it and I can assure you that the worst is yet to come as they are 99% brainwashed and will never change to the adoptive country that gave them the rights and the freedom to live as humans are supposed to as we are all infidels to them and not worthy of their trust in anything at all. We who gave them the right to live free are doomed to be subhuman in their eyes. Try to go to their country and voice your oppinions about your belief and your rights and you will get executed by them real quick. So before you go off rattling that all humans are free then try to tell them that in their country to get a taste of the mentallity first and then think again. I have been in almost every country in the world and I am 100% determined to see all men and women treated the same, but with these so called newly free people there is no way to change their ways to be as a ONE people---it is--they are right and all others are wrong--and to hell with the laws of the country that has adopted them, they want it all and will fight you for it too and will win because of our lax human rights laws and the goody 2 shoe group out there helping them to destroy us. I think that if a country will allow you to enter it and be free to get ahead and develop a home and education and medical as well as food and the right to vote etc, then you should be damned well proud to say that you are now a member and a citizen of this fine country that adopted you and your family into it. The idea of a muticultural society that allows all, the right to be themselves is fine, but HAVE THE BALLS to keep your laws for the country and the people first. Do not allow the immigrant to overtake the country and run it like back home, but allow them to as it is said to be a melting pot where they bring their good and combine with and allow us and all to be friends and neighbours in this or any fine free country. This is the beginning and could be the end if not set right for all of the so called free world that is adopting these radicals and so called good people from overseas. Get to your local and top government reps and voice your honest and non discriminating oppinions about your own freedom and that the immigrant had better adapt to than try to reform your own country. Keep your freedom and your country alive for your families and your safety.

No I have not heard, who are you dealing with? France, Spain, people from middle east and Africa? Really they do a good job in the US of only showing our problems. I feel dumb because I watch the news and it is the same stories over and over all day long when I know there is new stuff around the world happening.

I disagree, I think the Amrerican people would respond in the fashion that we want them to if mexicans started protesting and lighting buses on fire, that's exactly what I wish the mexicans would do.

Yes i quite agree. I am sick of Islamic Fundamentalists in this country. We spend thousands trying to appease them and keep them in check. Lost patience with these people i would love to see the extremists deported immediatelly.
