Lemon Balm (English)
Melissa officinalis (Latin)

It's a perennial herb in the mint family Lamiaceae, native to southern Europe and the Mediterranean region.

The way to find out what the official translation would be of a plant or anything else: type the German word first in the Wikipedia search engine. If you're sure that you found what you are looking for, then change the language of Wikipedia into English. Smart eh? ;-)

How to change the language in Wikipedia?
See the option bar at the left of the page, chose language.

It is in German you are right. Actually it is a very commonly used ingredient in varieties of herbal mixtures teas, especially relaxing or invigorating ( depends on the specific blend). "Zitronenmellisse" literally translated means Lemon Balm. In German "zitron" means "lemon" and as you could guess "Melisse" is derived from "melissa" (which in Latin is "Melissa officinalis)
Hope that is of help.
Have a great day!
