For children the world over, Santa Claus is real and necessarily so. Regardless of his origins, his deeds are of love and cheer, with the art of giving new things are blessings to the kids.
We who have matured and know the importance that Santa plays in the hearts and minds of our children can only look back and recall those same heart-felt days we enjoyed.
To anyone wishing to disprove Santa, Easter egg hunting, and even the tooth fairy to our children have something missing in their lives. Let our treasures be children until it is time for maturing. Then we can worry over the more serious aspects of life.
Thanks to most on this thread for your positive outlook that Santa is real for the kids.

Santa is real. Especially since the spirit of Christmas can exist every second and because kids can always write to Santa. Santa also has tons of helpers in homes across the globe. Have a great Christmas. I believe there's a site where you can track Santa.

Check there from November 17 as Santa prepares for his odyssey around the world.

YES..Santa is real!!! When my kids started asking about him and were not satisfied with my answer, i called the local TV station and asked if they had the Santa Radar on Christmas eve like they did when I was a child..and sure enough...it is still a regular thing on TV news stations. If they put it on the news...it has to be so....

Ok, I am 28 years and I still believe in Santa. LET ME EXPLAIN.....my daughter is 10 and just now realizes there is not an actual guy who comes into our house and puts gifts under the tree, but if you ask her today if she believes in Santa her answer is still yes. I explained to her, While there is no reindeer and elves, Santa is another word for love and giving. Why do you have to see or explain. That takes away the power of believing.
There was a really poor family in my neighborhood last year, I knew their kids would not have very much to open on Christmas day. Me and my daughter spent some of our Christmas shopping days gathering up toys and clothes. On Christmas Eve, I waited until the family was gone then we ran up to the porch and put the neatly wrapped gifts on the porch, we actually waited at home looking out at the neighbors for more than an hour, when they finally came home, you should of seen the happiness in those childrens eyes when they seen the gifts, one of the girls started opening the gifts before they even got them inside the house. The tags said To: Your Family Love: Santa. No one can tell me that Santa is not real. Its all in how you believe.
To get to your question on age: Wait until they are old enough not to get hurt when they find out there is no elves or jolly old man, but old enough to understand about the real thing called "Santa" Why take everything out of Christmas.
Take care, and have a wonderful, SANTA filled Christmas.

He is real as long as you believe in him!!
When the kids at school started telling me stories about Santa not being real, I confronted my parents who were getting ready for Church. They told me that we would talk when we got home. I sat between them in church, neither one ever left and when we got home, the tree was lit and presents were under the tree!!! I went to school after christmas break and told them they were all crazy - Santa is VERY real!!!
