Women: do you tend to favor men's opinions over women's?

frequently. Most the men I know tend to take the emotional side out and give me good stable advice that I can use to make my own decision with.

More often than not, I tend to favor women's opinions, simply because woman usually are more prone to being serious. BUT when I ask questions about relationships, sometimes a man's opinion is the one I favor simply because I am looking to find what a man thinks. I guess it just depends on the topic.

Some women's opinions I don't trust because for example they'll say an outfit looks nice when it doesn't because;

1.) They don't want to hurt your feelings.
2.) They want you to go out looking like crap so they look better because they're jealous.

I also don't think women are necessarily honest with each other (I know my friends never are) whereas men, who don't seem to have the same emotional attachments as women tend to give a more honest answer regardless of feelings etc. Either way it can be hurtful I suppose but I've learnt to try & make a decision by myself.

I guess it depends on what the opinion it..Cuz some i wouldnt even think about askin a guy..but some things i would want to know from a guys point of view..

No I favor opinions of people I care about whether they are male or female

Depends on the topic. If its an answer is factual, whether its male or female doesn't really matter.

depends on what it's about. if it's "women's" issues yes. there are definately things i would listen to a man to before a woman.

(snort) NO. Why should I care what men think? Their opinion of me doesn't matter, so why should their opinion of anything matter?

depends on the question but mostly I listen to other women we are smarter....
