Buy some yellow popcorn seasoning salt and add it on top of your cornels after being put in your popper, make sure it's good and hot, pop the corn and melt some real butter on the side in a pan, and drissle butter over top of flavored popcorn. You'll feel your inside the movie theatre eating there popcorn, but better.

Just after if has popped, put it into a big bowl and spray a little oil on it and quickly add a little salt. Shake. Use a healthy oil like canola. You need that to make salt stick to it. I guess it would work for other seasonings. Thsi is about the only way to get some flavour to the popcorn, and it works.
Happy munching

Margarine and salt. Have a shaker each of sour cream and one of bacon seasoning, but use rarely. Occasionally, use parmesan cheese. Gloop happens because of too much butter/marg. on top.

I always melt butter and Marmite in a pan, pour it over, toss it with two forks and sprinkle loads of grated parmesan over - it's absolutely lush. If you're in the States you can get Marmite off Ebay xxx

I still do my popcorn in a pot... a shot of veggie oil to pop it in. I gave up on butter years ago.
Flavoring: dust it with Cayanne Pepper and salt.
