AVI can be opened in Windows Media Player while for running 3gp u need a converter tool(search it on google) or it can also be run on Real Player or Quick Player.

For .avi file, you need to first have the proper video codecs installed. go to free-codecs.com, to get the codecs. After this you can run it from any player you want.
3gp files can be through quick movie player.

3gp can be played in nokia multimedia player bundled in the installer cd with the phone and .avi can be played in media player samjha kya bap :-)
