to die like he did, because that's how things were done on
the Earth.

Good question. I don't know it all. Until I reach heaven, I don't think I will know. BUT HE DID ! He sent his son into the world to die on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, so that we might have ETERNAL LIFE in heaven with him. That is all that I need. He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.
