not just singers/actresses baby...take a look at our beloved Oprah. You think she's got those bouncy curls naturally? Most people just naturally assume it's all her hair because we've watched her for years with really long hair. I'm not saying that she's always had a weave because that's not true. Take a look of her magazine covers when her hair is braided. There's not a whole lot of hair there. If you look at the style she has now, if she were to have all of that hair braided it would be way down her back.

I believe that a majority of singers, actresses, models or people who garner media/public attention have extensions if their hair is longer than shoulder length. I have a good friend who is a hair stylist (she is black) and most of her customers are white. Race doesn't have anything to do with wanting thicker and longer hair.

Most of the time there hair pieces. The reason why entertainers do this is to be appealing while on stage. They do not have the time think up styles or get it styled so what they can't achieve they weave.

well, maybe it's their own hair. Maybe they straighten it and they use expensive products. Mostly they have extension.
