just a lil' bit of general knowledge ...........pls.help?

i really want these ans urgently please
though i saw the answers recently i just can't remember them and would appreciate it if u could help(wid a best ans!!)
1.a new bird species was recently discovered in india after about 50 yrs.name it and where was it discovered?

2.name the natural waterfall 1.6km across which derives it's name from the local language phrase meaning"smoke that thunders".also name the river on which it is situated.
