The acting senior pastor at New Life, Ross Parsley, told KKTV-TV of Colorado Springs that Haggard admitted that some of the accusations were true.

"I just know that there has been some admission of indiscretion, not admission to all of the material that has been discussed but there is an admission of some guilt," Parsley told the station.

There's no proof yet, only an accusation. Or do you judge someone guilty before they've been given an adequate chance to defend themselves? Give the man a chance to do that. If he's guilty, then God will deal with him.

This is just like Satan; he's not called the "accuser of the brethren" for nothing.

Excuses ? I will not make excuses for another. I searched him on the net, but only found his church and beliefs, not a crime. So I am not sure exactly to what you are referring, but it doesn't matter. I assume the man thought he was closer to GODS level than he was, and did something stupid. He probably lost the battle to his ego.No mere mortal is strong enough to do it on his own. When he quit putting GOD first, he screwed up and GOD let him. It has happened all thru history, especially the last 20 years or so. There have been a lot of evangelists who have taken a wrong turn. I imagine the power those people feel, from the world coming to them and looking for help and from all of the money they see in their service. I believe it was JESUS who said that '' it would be easier for a camel to move thru the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven ''. No, I don't know what exactly you are referring to, but I took a stab at it. O.K., now I know about his AFFAIRS, if you want to call them that. My answer stays the same. Don't judge all christians by his actions. We cannot be held accountable for him. I still think that somewhere along the way he lost his purpose and quit listening to GOD. I imagine that he felt so much power in his position, that anything was O.K. . He probably always had these desires, but when he lost his way and quit trusting GOD, he lost the ability to fight the urges.

Friend, I am a Christian, I never even heard of this man until I seen it on the news, Now you ask what excuses, I don't give any excuses for a False Prophet or a false pastor, You have many of them in these days just like the catholic priest molesting all these kids, But when things like this happens, you are ready to crucify All Christians, I have always said there is false ministers that has blinded the eyes of the people, And cause a reproach On True Christians, now you ask me a question, A TRUE MINISTER will never do anything like this, Now before you try to throw stones at TRUE MINISTERS & TRUE CHRISTIANS, look in your own back yard, before you throw stones in a glass house. God is just exposing all this evil deeds in these last days. Therefore God is seperating all these false christians from the true ones. because when all said & done the True ones will out shine them all.

Did these people even read the article in the news??? He admitted some of the accusations were TRUE! Wow, talk about selectively blind! With the exception of a couple of answers here, I'd have to say they are making excuses by ignoring the true Haggard ADMITTED TO. Geez!! All because he claims to be a Christian.

Makes me wonder if they'd make excuses for Jim Jones!

Who's coming up with excuses? I hope people are praying for the guy to stop focusing on the world and to get his focus back on Christ. Check out the entry about Haggard that I just posted on my blog.

The accusations include more than just sex. The majority of the money and phone messages seem to be about drugs.

I guess we'll get to see in the near future.

I don't need to come up with excuses for him. If he has been living a lie that's between him and God to work out. Christians aren't perfect by any means, we all sin every day.

Well, I've looked over what he believes and don't really think he needs an excuse. Unlike my belief that you need to be excused for your exceedingly poor choice in screen aliases.

Now, why are the Christians to blame for some individual's deeds?

Why don't you ask the Muslims what excuse they have for the 9/11 tragedy, next?

Or, the Amish what excuse they have for the tragedy that befell their children?

And, you're sick enough to take the Satan nickname!?
