Because he needed to die to take your sins upon him and release you from them. His father sent him to die for you so he couldn't change that.

You have to read the whole Bible to see the big picture, to understand why God did the things he did. Jesus was sent by his Father to die for the sins of the whole World. If God would had stopped Jesus from dieing on the cross, then there would be no forgiveness for our sins.

He didn't save himself from the Jews because
he was being obedient to his Father. If you will read the Bible or have someone read it to you, then you will better understand. Jesus did pray that if it were possible the cup be taken away from him, but said, your will be done Father, not mine.

Read the book of John ch. 1 in the Bible, and you will see that Jesus is both God and Son. Just like when a person invites Jesus into their life, God's Holly Spirit comes into them, they are not God, but they have his Spirit living inside them.

When dieing on the cross Jesus was talking to his Father, not himself. God the Father can not die, and when Jesus said,"Father why have you forsaken me" the Spirit of God left Jesus, because like I said God the Father can't die, and three days later brought Jesus back to life.

Jesus Christ is the true Son of God and the only way To God. Read John 14:6

This answer is for all Christians too.

How can some one take away all your sins and die....??? Sins that u would do in future? He came to giive the message of Allah to everyone. and this means that we should not sin and WILL be punished for what we do coz sins are called sins coz we shall be punished IF WE DONT STAY AWAY FROM THEM. whats the point of calling murder, rape, adultry, stealing and other stuff a SIN, if one is already forgiven for them.?? Sins are there and punishment is there . This is why we should not SIN coz we are afraid to be punished. Its just a BIG EXCUSE of the so called teaching of christianity (not in the true sence its not the real teachings) that Christ took away our sins so now we can go ahead an HOOLAh and enjoy ourselves, kill, rape ,a steal, murder and no need to worry. Islam on the other hand teacjes fair rules for everyone. We should stay away from sin coz its going to cause us to go to hell unless we repent and gGod forgives us or our good deeds over power our bad ones:)
God Bless.

Firstly, the ROMANS who conquered the Mid-East killed Jesus: Crucifixions were their favorite way to execute...
Secondly, the last Pope (John Paul II) came out with the declaration that the Romans indeed killed Jesus, and he gave a formal and public apology to the Jewish people!
The Muslim claim that the Jews killed Jesus is a pathetic attempt to encourage anti-Jewish feelings and actions.

You sound like the thief who was crucified on the cross next to Christ, thats just what he said.

Luk 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

Luk 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

Luk 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

Luk 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

When Jesus was arrested he said to Peter `` Put your sword back in its sheath. Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?``

You mean why did he become the final "slain Lamb" for our sins, upon the cross? Gee, I don't know. Maybe because he LOVES mankind, and gave us a way out from Hell. If he did not die upon the cross, then there's NO salvation and we're ALL going to hell!

The answer is because He willingly gave up His life to be the sacrifice for our sins......by His death he paisd the penalty for the sins of all mankind....thus fulfilling the prophecies of Scripture that "he was wounded for our iniquities...." ( Isaiah)
