I dont date since I believe there is too much hassle into it.
Met this guy at a mates wedding and he just somehow convinced me to give it a shot... (It took 3 dates for him to convince me I should date him, hehe)
The problem is.. I cant see him much anyway due to other commitments at home and work (am working full time and also a carer for my disabled grandmother and teenage cousins)
A recent incident where we were spposed to go out together on a group date has confused me
It was spposed to be our 6th date (in 3 months) and my frnds all wantd 2 see him, but he never turned up !(Being stoodup sucks)
He claims that he couldnt wake up, wouldnt pick up the mobile since he'd lost it(i was worried sick), but found it back !
The thing is... his reasons dont make any sense. His apologies sound sincere enuf but I am having second thoughts. He wouldnt call me after this and claimed it was because he was ashmed to have done that to me.
Should I say good bye?
I still feel attracted 2 him.

Well it depends on what you looking for (doesnt matter how much you see them but quality of relationship)

If you happy with a casual 'fun' relationship then give him another chance and see where it goes - Of course dont let him do it too many times.

But though you havent been dating it sounds like you are wanting something more meaningful when you do date. Then you already have doubts (other wise you wouldnt ask us crazy people!!) It could end up just one big hassle. He has seriously let you down. I dont think hes too worth it. Maybe break it off now before it you get too entangled.

I could be a pessimist but how hard is it to phone some one?? I think your instincts are right not to trust his excuses.

Sounds like he's playing games... But then again the whole dating scene is about playing games, everyone dose it until you find someone you want to be in a serious relationship with. Best way to handle it is date other people but stay in contact with him and continue to date him as well. (it's OK to date more than 1 person at a time if you are not exclusively with him) that will take your mind off him and if he's really interested, it will force him to put in more effort. If not, at least you will meet someone else your attracted to. Good luck.

If you're still attracted to him, give him a second chance. Maybe he was terrified and freaked out at the thought at meeting your friends, thinking they would judge him and put you off him (especially if he had to work hard for you in the first place, he might think you'll dump him immediately if your friends don't like him). Maybe i'm being naive and an optimist but give him another chance, i have to admit if i was really into someone and weren't sure how much they liked me i would be well scared of meeting their friends.

this guy guy is one sick puppy for not being honest with you . you have to move on with your love life ,this guy doesnot want to start a relationship with you okay .dont be afraid to fall in love because you think the hussles are puzzling ,well i got news for you the hussles are outweighed by love itself . love is wonderful ,i dont think you want to grow old by yourself, you have to leave life to the fullest so give yourself a chance cause life is short dear. i know you got all the responsibilities but so does everyone else okay so thats no excuse not to fall in love and be happy okay . love is a gift ,try it cause even when you are stressed to the last degree when you see a bunch of roses on your door or front desk wont that make it all better so you go girl. tatta

I am tired of all the games myself..........I took some time
off from dating. Been back at it for a couple of months,
and i think since Ive been on Q and A , it has helped me
spot the NUTS faster. Its sad when you spot them on the
first date, or even when they are standing there asking you out.

nail him into a deep and meaningful conversation and inform him he has 1 more chance. The odds are he is as poor at relationships as you were at dates. If you like him enough, you can shape his thinkings to suit yourself... But if he's wasting your time, walk away.
