I have found that it's easier after they have been exercising a lot..wait for a while they tend to be more calm and get that camera working for you. I know you'll end up taking a lot of photos before you get the right one but it's worth it, they're gonna look awesome!

If you find out, let me know! I want to have a family (Christmas) picture done....me, my husband, our German Shep., and my Boston Terrier....

Also, I take pics all the time of our dogs with my dig. camera...sometimes when they are together and doing something cute....I take them over and over again...then I scroll through to find the best one...also I make a really weird noise with my voice...or I squeak a toy...or slam my hand on the table or something....for a split second they stop what they are doing to look up at me...like they must be thinking, "What the hell was that?" Of course that comes along with their heads both ****** to the side..but it works sometimes...good luck!

Take them out & play with them, a lot, get them tired so that they are ready to take a rest. At this point they should be calmer & more complient with your attempts to get that Christmas photo. And as always their favorite snacks as rewards for being still.

Good Luck!

My husband's a pro photograher and would suggest duct tape or super glue. (Just kidding!) However, you could try taking individual photos of them and then photoshopping them all together or make a collage for your card. Good luck!
