Anything microwavable or ready to eat. Espescially things you can eat right out of the package. Cookies, candy, jerky, tuna, anything really that doesn't require much prep and will stay along time. One of my husband favorites..the betty crocker dessert in a bowl. It's like a small cake already in a bowl just add water and microwave.

Ramen noodles, beef jerky, coffee and creamer, gum, crackers (like RITZ) just to name a few those are some of the things we sent our soldier.

pick up some MRIs at you local Army Surplus store, they'll love it!
either that or ice cream....
no, really, ok......i think anyone would appreciate homemade cookies or brownies.
