There are three parts to an egg.
1) the outside or hard shell which is usually white or light brown (Both colors of eggs taste the same and have the same nutritional value.)
2) the white part, called white
3) the yellow part in the middle, called the yolk
Hope this helps!

depends on the diet and breed. Varies from Orange to pale yellow.
The older the egg, the paler and more watery.
Supermarket bought eggs are nothing like the natural colour of real hens eggs.
We have some Caladonian Buff hens whose eggs have tartan yolks

They range from pale yellow to an orangey-yellow and, if you hard-boil the egg, they have a greyish edge caused by oxidation of the yolk.

From light yellow to orange depending on what the hen has been fed and if it is a battery or free range chicken.
Of course the eggs from the free range chicken are the best ones.

The yolks from my chickies' eggs are bright orange, quite freakily so, actually! They wander around all over the place and eat bugs and anything green. They're also the most delicious eggs you can possibly imagine xxx
