Nothing is wrong. It is still in the early stages (and boys are a bit slower then girls) it takes alot of strong tummy and back muscles to sit up. If your baby isn't pulling up to sit or able to stay seated after you prop them up they aren't strong enough yet.
A good starter exercise is to make your baby reach up for things. Sort of a make-shift baby sit-up.
Give your baby time. I am sure he/she will be sitting up in no time.

so babies take longer to sit or even walk..it's nothing that you are doing or that she is doing...some don't start to walk intil they are a year old..sometimes it has to do with the weight of your baby..i mean, some babies that are "healthy", "thick" have a harder time keeping themselves up, so they would rather lay down..so again there is nothing wrong with her

Please relax a little! All babies do things in there own time!!! Mine never crawled but walked right on schedule! It is a good idea to follow up with a dr but I really think she is ok!

dont worry nothing happened to her, this is quite usual. few child learn late to sit or walk or anyting. that's it. good sign is only that she is trying.

All babies develop at different times. Don't rush her, she'll be ready when she's ready.
