1. About 5 minutes before lunch or dinner, drink a
glass of water or use a juicer to juice organic
veggies or fruit. Allowing you to fill your
stomach up so you don’t eat as much food.

2. When choosing breads, biscuits and muffins go with
organic whole grains such as spelt, buckwheat,
barley and so on. Use organic natural spreads,
free of chemicals and additives.

3. Replace soft drinks and fruit juice with water.

4. ALWAYS eat breakfast. A meat source such as steak,
chicken, fish, or eggs with some fruit or some
steal cut oatmeal will jump start your metabolism.
Eating breakfast will stabilize your blood sugar
and prevent overeating the wrong foods later.

5. Between meals, chewing gum may satisfy your sweet
tooth at less than 10 calories. Be mindful of
dental health and don’t overdo it! Chew organic
natural gums free of aspartame and other harmful
chemicals.

6. When the need to really treat one’s self arises,
opt for organic ice cream, cookies, or something
sweet like a protein shake with some fresh or
frozen fruit. However, just enough to satisfy the
urge since they contain sugar! Make it natural
sugar.

7. Consider consuming coconut oil for breakfast or
lunch to help stabilize your blood sugar and keep
the fat off.

8. Avoid dairy and cheese to help keep the fat off.

9. Replace your snack foods with organic snacks, like
raw almonds, cashews and pumpkin seeds, though be
careful because calories can add up fast.

10. Replace milk with raw milk or at least organic
milk which will rid your body of unhealthy
hormones. Or avoid milk all together, you can get
plenty of calcium from leafy greens.

11. Don’t alter your food. Consume your food as
mother nature intended you to, naturally. If they
have to process the food, package it or change it
from how you would eat it in nature, avoid it.

12. Remember Fruit should be your favorite dessert.
Make fruit something you crave and if necessary
add small amounts of organic brownies, cake, or
pie.

13. Remember to follow your body’s bio-chemistry;
what you are made to eat and what allows you to
function the best and read about your body’s
metabolic typing.

14. When the urge for pizza arises, make it. Buy
organic pizza dough and add fresh organic
toppings, raw cheese, and enjoy.

15. Watch out for the salad bar, just because it is a
salad doesn’t necessarily mean you can eat as
much as you want. Use vinegar and oil for
dressing. It is a better choice than creamy
Italian, Ranch or house dressings. Be careful
with shredded cheese, potato salad, and sour
cream as well.

16. Avoid all fried foods. And if you feel the need
to eat fried food use coconut oil so it can
hold up to the high temperature of frying as
opposed to vegetable oils that go rancid and can
lead to health problems and gaining weight.

17. Buy French fries that can be baked instead of
fried. Still blot well to remove excess grease!
Or even better buy sweet potatoes and make them
into French fries.

18. Try to avoid processed foods. Chemicals,
additives and colors are not healthy, and these
food are often high in calories. Eating an apple
will fill your stomach and be better in the long
run. Don’t forget, at least one fruit or
vegetable with every meal, preferably organic.

19. Occasional indulgences are allowable, but don’t
feel a diet has been ruined and give up because
you “cheated.” Just be mindful during the
upcoming days and remember that your body is
constantly burning calories and fuel.

20. Move as much and whenever possible, even if it’s
using the stairs instead of the elevator, or
walking instead of driving to meet the kids.
Revisit a sport or activity once loved, or
attempt an entirely new physical activity. Check
the library for free workout videos, hire a
personal trainer or find a television exercise
show, for private exercise. Play with the kids.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Just eat smaller portions. Eat slowly, because your brain takes about 20 minutes before it tells your body that your stomach is full. So if you eat a whole lot in a short period of time, the chances of overeating are increased. When you eat smaller portions, you will find that you get hungry faster... if you must snack, have low-calorie snacks such as apples or yoghurt.
Also, stay away from deep-fried and sugar-rich food (including complex sugars, such as starches).
Aerobic exercies such as cycling, spin class at the gym or jogging will definitely help.
Good luck!!

Here are some simple and painless steps to reducing weight.

1)Make sure to get enough water in your day(64 ounces-1 gallon). Stop drinking sodas and replace your sodas with water (or drink diet soda).

2)Drink low fat, or skim milk instead of whole milk. A serving of milk is 8 ounces.

3)Eat baked meat instead of fried(Fish, Chicken, Pork, Beef)Remember portion sizes on meats. a portion size of meat is about the size of the palm of your hand or a deck of cards.

4)Eat at home, not at restaurants, this way you can control how much fat and calories is going into your food

5)Eat at least 3 servings of vegetables a day. (canned, frozen, or fresh) You can have as many veggies as you like. Limit the amount of corn!

6)Eat fruit at least once a day(banana, apple, orange, prunes, raisins, etc) Canned, Frozen, Fresh.

7)When eating snacks, portion out the snack into a bowl before going to sit down with it. If you take the whole bag of potato chips to the couch, and eat them while watching tv, then you'll probably eat the whole bag of chips. But if you measure out the chips into a bowl(20 chips) then you won't overeat the junk food. You can still have junk food, just don't go overdo it.

8)When having a snack, go for a healthier snack such as pretzels, pop corn with no butter, fruit, fresh veggies, fat free potato chips, one ounce of cheese, small peanutbutter snadwich, a cup of dry cereal, a cup of fat free yogurt, etc.

9)Get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day(walking, swimming, tennis, cycling, dancing, house cleaning, etc) You need 3 hours of exercise a week. This would average out to 30 minutes a day for 7 days. Or do one hour every other day Monday, Wednesday, Friday. etc.

10)Remember to read labels. read the calories, fat, carb, protein, etc on the label. And decide whether or not you want to really eat it or not.

You should have 1500-2000 calories a day
You should have 20-30 grams of fat a day
You should have 30-40 grams of protein a day
You should have about 100-200 carbohydrates a day
Get lots of calcium by eating low fat cheeses, and drinking low fat milk
You should get enough fiber by eating fruits and veggies

Good Luck, and let me know how it turns out. :-)

Stop wearing underwear - you'll drop a couple of pounds for sure. A haircut's a good way of shedding a few unwanted kgs, too. Swap glasses for contacts - we're only talking about a few hundred grams here, but every little helps. Oh, and stop eating.

However much you normally dish out on a plate, try dishing up half the amount. Have 3 potatoes instead of 6. half a tin of beans instead of a whole tin. Simple really, the more you eat the fatter you get.

Eat less carbohdrates and oily foods, exercise more. Keep hydrated though. Ignore people who say that water drinking water increases weight. You need more water if you exercise more, dehydration is a very bad thing.

How do you lose anything... just don't think about it. Eat healthy and exercise if you can, walk more than you normally would, park further away... things like that. If you don't make a conscious effort to eat healthy and exercise... then you won't lose weight!
