The news said so but the makers of Cadbury said that if it really has Salmonella only in limited amount which can be tolerated by the human system..BUT remember that different persons react differently to bacteria especially young ones so at the latest I heard, they gathered those chocolates known to have been infected and threw it away (don't know where ). Salmonella is the one causing the Typhoid fever..that can kill.Hope this helps. God bless

This is old news.

There was a batch of Cadburys chocolates in England which were identified as possibly having salmonella but they were recalled and buried in the ground.

Current Cadburys chocolates are perfectly safe, although they do have one nasty side effect...they can make you fat if you eat too many :)

Not sure you can get salmonella poisoning from chocolate, but if you could it would only be an isolated case because they would recall the bad batch. Salmonella itself is a very nasty thing and can cause death. Not worth worrying about.

You can only get it from meat that isn't cooked properly, not chocolate!
