why do Christians complain about being persecuted? I know American Christians that complain about how hard their life is... and how they are always being persecuted. i do not understand this.

try being a Muslim for two minutes! i personally was almost pushed and front of a train. my best friend has been spit on. along with countless other stories of looks, nasty comments, and even a few violent people.

and also, among several different groups of people there are still many out there who hate and say horrible things about jews. i grew up with a Jewish girl, and they were absolutely horrible to her all throughout grammar school. so much so that eventually her parents moved.

i'm not trying to offend anyone but shouldnt the Christians in America appreciate that majority of people here are Christian and that there is at least one church, if not many more, in each town?

I am sure that Christians have it a lot easier than other religions in the U.S. That doesn't mean though that they aren't persecuted at all, just less than others.

Think of it this way. If you have a bad headache, it doesn't help you knowing that I have a much worse headache, your headache is still the same and makes you feel bad. In the same way, American Christians may be persecuted less than other groups in the country, but they still suffer some persecution.

I think persecution against a majority is a lot less serious than persecution against a minority though. The majority tends to be forceful and tries to dictate the lives of the minorities or even goes so far as trying to eliminate the minorities, which can't do much about it since they're outnumbered. A minority persecuting the majority can be unpleasant for sure, but it's not nearly as much of a threat as when the minority is being persecuted by the majority. Still, them knowing that somebody has it worse doesn't solve their problem.

Your right we're all persecuted in one way or another for our beliefs. You mentioned the Jewish girl, I feel they are persecuted the worst and I wish them nothing but good because of it.

I feel that is also why they are Gods chosen people also, he will pay them back for what they have endured here.
