Hello Vinod, I hope I am not misreading your question, but I wonder if you are asking this because you are considering ending your life. I was suicidal when I was a teenager, but the peace I have found through a relationship with Jesus Christ has given me not only hope but a reason to live. Please check out the links below for a little bit about my life and for toll-free numbers you can call if you are in the United States and can talk to people who would like to help you. If I can help in any way, please feel free to e-mail me at chad@jesusfreak.com. Have a good day.

It seems u r very much distuebed in ur life.
Sufferings in life goes simultaneously. So far as sufferings r considered my life is going in such a way that if u keep in my place u will think u r much more happier.
Sufferings make us stronger and practical for our future. We come to know about realities of our near n dear ones.Who really loves us n who really care for us is not visible untill we r not in trouble.
A t good times all r our friends but in suffering even parents n wife also dont help.
So till we r alive we will have to face .
Second thought is that we remember God only in sufferings. So we dont forget Him sufferings r sometimes given as gifts also.
THANX

Lord Krishna states in Bhagavad Gita that this material world is a place of suffering: dukhalayam ashashvatam (8.15). He also says that we should learn to tolerate the sufferings and enjoyments as they come and go, like winter and summer seasons (2.14). He also says that an end to all sufferings can be attained by fully surrendering unto Him (18.66)

My friend, I am not sure about your relationship with GOD, but for those who us who trust the LORD fully, we have been told to expect suffering and to count it joy when we suffer because we are Christians. We can see a lot of that right here on YA when our atheist friends blast us for our faith in GOD.

I have even been banned from several Christian groups because I will not just sit around and tickle their ears. They do not want any controversy, they will not make any waves and they do not like it when I remind them that if they are not making waves, they are not doing anything..they are dead in the water so naturally satan does not see them as a threat.

We may not be able to stop suffering, but our outlook will change when we remember why it happens..and that someday...all our tears will be wiped away by the KING Of Kings Himself.

If you are Hindu or follow Hindism.....

First of all take it granted that death is NOT end of any sufferings. Suffering Life is called punishment life in our astrological language, and punishment life is awarded to a person for his/her sin committed in the past birth. You have to accept the verdict of Supreme God ...there is no escape at all.

On trying shortcut way, to escape the suffering life, will rather increase our sufferings.... so kindly accept the granted life and do good deeds in this birth and try to learn how to find out enjoyment out the present suffering life. The God will shower mercy upon you.

Unfortunately and however much we may wish, we cannot get a glimpse of our past or future life, as an impenetrable iron curtain seems to hang down at birth and death, separating the past, the present and the future. Therefore many people take it granted that an entirely new life comes in to being at the birth, after its life span and disappears forever. Good and bad actions earn their reward and punishment right here on the earth. Any sin committed, is liquidated by sincere repentance and confession before God, probably at later age –after retirement?

The fact is that ‘no life comes into being suddenly out of void nor disappears at the death into nothing, life is a continuum; an endless cycle of births’- is how put by the great Sri Shankaracharya:

PUNARABHI JANANAM PUNARABHI MARANAM
PUNARABHI JANANI JATRE SHAYANAM

Once Again Birth, Once Again Death,
Once Again Lying In Mother’s Womb.

The planetary position in the horoscope will reveal the degree of the sin committed in your previous birth and the time of Mooksha for your Poorva Janma Maha Papa. Approach any good astrologer and find out when there will be Papa Mooksha.

Pray to God, kneel down before God and pray.

We commit such sins in our previous birth that no remedy will work and save us from our sufferings. OF COURSE there is one way to wash away our Maha Papa ...our own tears! Shedding tears in front of God and accepting the Maha Papa committed in previous birth...will minimize our suffering.

God Bless You.

Dear vinod,

i would say because we live in a fallen world full of sin- there will always be suffering. Sometimes caused by ourselves, other times others.

The good news is that God loves us and offers us His peace and presence which teaches us how to endure suffering and also enables us to be used by God to help decrease the sufferings of others.

Please do email me and let me know what particular things you may suffer from and i'll pray for you... nicksterlee@yahoo.com

Kindly,

Nickster

Ask Jesus for some joy. He gave some to me when I was down during a period of my life. I have joy all the time now.

It can really get pretty bad at times, can't it? Just don't forget that it can be really great sometimes too. If you keep that in mind you'll get through the dark times. You have to take the bad with the good.
