THE WRONG KIND! Only what can best be described as a pagan god of war and destruction.
It hearkens back to the early dark ages and the poor versus the wealthy Muslims who maintained large harems of women and the poor Muslims who had nothing. It was a promise made to get the poor Muslims to fight in their so called holy wars.
So when they got killed fighting them would be treated like rich sultans in heaven and have large palaces with harems.
Just another way to get the poor to fight for the rich!

The number of virgins I have seen presented frequently is 70. This presents a bit of a problem however.. Since the abode in heaven is supposed to be one of spirit level, the mortal functions will be none existent.
Is strange there would be conflicting verses in the Koran and the Bible concerning another messenger... He did say He would return a second time, to gather his flock however... the messiah.
Seems as though someone wrote that portion of the Koran with a bit of tongue in cheek as the disciples who wrote the letters and had contact with The Christ, never mentioned that other prophet or messenger in all their witings. Wonder who would have that knowledge other than the disciples?????????? And why would such a verse be placed in the Koran??

God wouldn't, but Satan would. Satan would promise all sorts of "rewards" like sex with "72 virgins" in heaven, for slaughtering innocent people. This whole concept of "72 virgins" in heaven didn't come about until the 7th century AD! No where did GOD ever "promise" mankind with this, ever! This is why Jesus said to beware of FALSE prophets!

The term which you're speaking approximately replaced into extremely different from our very own. in case you communicate approximately the lasting cultural impacts of historic Egypt, Babylon, and Israel, then the question of those neighboring countries' doubtlessly poisonous effect on Israel turns into very proper.they did no longer have the kind of literacy and preparation that we've on the instant to guard ourselves. If those neighboring cultures were allowed to proceed to be alive, they might have (and, from time to time, did) grow to be a corrupting effect on the no longer-fairly-customary Israel. those cultures secure idol worshipers who practiced human and/or infant sacrifice, and orgiastic religious ceremonies. The *basically* thank you to guard Israel (surprisingly until now the rustic replaced into relatively customary) replaced into to ruthlessly do away with those impacts. This same theory of cultural-purity nonetheless exists interior the area: terrorist businesses frequently use the "probability" of Western Hegemony as a recruiting tactic. And the reality that works for them speaks volumes.

Two points need to be noted. First, there is no mention anywhere in the Koran of the actual number of virgins available in paradise, and second, the dark-eyed damsels are available for all Muslims, not just martyrs.
