Hello!! :o) Practically every human being assumes that THEY are at the center of 'all things rational'. So whenever someone says something that offends THEIR idea of 'rational' they immediately assume that the other person must be NUTS!! I try not to do that. [Emphasize on the word 'try'] So if someone said that they met God and that God lives in Brooklyn - I would consider it a fantastic conversation opener!! [And go from there] I believe that God is anywhere HE wants to be. So I'm sure He's often been in Brooklyn!! [Well... at least once!! lol] Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

As for the word, "oh my god," I accept as true with Cognostic (This Commandment particularly refers to taking an oath to tell the certainty in what replaced into as quickly as a courtroom of regulation. to apply the Lord's call in ineffective is to swear to tell the certainty and then lie. It has no longer something what so ever to do with stupid on a regular basis expressions that take place to contain the be conscious God.), Divorah, and Aravah. those solutions all represent the Jewish view of making use of God's call in ineffective. As for making use of the call, Jesus, I in specific cases say "jesus christ!" while unpleasantly stunned.... yet then, that has no longer something to do with making use of God's call in ineffective because of the fact Jews do no longer view Jesus as a god. .

hmmmmmmmm. i've met god too. but i met him in my house. he used my paresnts as form. he smiled to me when my father kissed me and said: have a nice day kid. he embraced me in my mom's hug, and wished all the world's happiness.
every day i work in the man made world, and go back to Him-- to be loved, embraced, fed, clothed...........
on a more practical level, i'd help him locate a good psychiatrist, who'd help him locate the addy in Brooklyn.

Did your "someone" live in Brooklyn? If so, the interpretation of his statement is:
I have met God and He now lives inside me; therefore, since I live in Brooklyn, God lives there too. That's not too "kooky" if this was his thinking.
Otherwise, he is not rational and probably does need a good psychiatrist. What did you think?

i can go to any mental hospital across the country and find Jesus sitting next Napoleon. Finding god in NY might just reflect that we don't have enough of a heart on this country to take care of the mentally ill that live on the street.

God actually does live there, has several nice little buildings that he uses as home. He calls them by different names, he calls some church, and some synagogue. Some he calls different names.
