Ive heard 100 times a day that "democrats have a better way"......PLZ tell me this better way (and be realistic everyone knows pulling out of Iraq now isnt an option). If we leave now we lose all credibility, respect, and no country will fear us...the N. Korea issue will get MUCH larger b/c they will see how weak we have become, and it will result in more terrorist attacks on American soil...so what would you advise us to do dems?????

I plan on voting Repub...i was just wanting to know this "better" way...bunch of bs...

First off - we will BECOME weak once we pull out, yes, we are not weak now b/c in the matter of 2 weeks we took over Afghanistan...and w/ in 3 yrs we have disthroned Saddam Hussein (who had been in rule for a LONG time) and we have helped build schools, hospitals, etc...you call that weak? How come since 9/11 there hasnt been another attack? Obviously no one wants to start sh** with us anymore. N. Korea says they have the nukes, whats stopping them? The fact we will come kick their a**?? Im gonna say that the Iraq fatality rate is triple maybe quadruple the American death rate....something along those lines...yeah thats not exactly "weak", it will be if we leave....

To the other guy...were not in Iraq b/c of lies...ur just a product of a liberal nation warping your mind. What lie was told to get us there? Hussein harbored terrorists and supported terrorism against the US, thats reason enough. We were in Afghanistan b/c of 9/11 thats a damn good reason. Its a war on TERROR, not 1 country, it just so happens that now the terror has shifted to mainly in Iraq. We have destroyed MANY terrorist camps and foiled many terrorist attack plans...obviously something is going right. Another thing, 2800 ppl died in 3 yrs. All 2800 of those ppl SIGNED UP for the military knowing the risk. We lost 3000+ innocent lives just b/c they happened to be in the wrong place wrong time, that happened in exactly 1 hr to 1 1/2 hrs...get a clue bud...it had to be done, you dont get punched in the mouth and run off like a lil (liberal) b**** would, you fight for your country and for your freedoms. And when youre attacked on ur soil, you fight for that....

Blondie...you have proven once again that Dems do not have a better way. All you said was a bunch of bs...they dont want us over there? I guess you know better than the IRAQI PRESIDENT who today said that he's tired of the media manipulating the ppls mind on this war and turning everything negative w/o showing positive and that he would like us to stay at least 3 more yrs! Of course tho, ur a dem you know more than he does about his country and what he wants. Second. We leave now the Iraqi govt will be overthrown by terrorists or radicals...so no it wont sustain if they want it to, it will be to vulnerable to attacks and cannot implicate itself. They have no army to fight back w/ at this moment, it takes time. Get a clue...we've foiled many terrorist plans (in Iraq) and have destroyed many terrorist camps...dont tell me there werent terrorist there, Saddam supported Al Qaida and if anyone hates us it was him...But if your gonna bash me, get ur facts straight plz.........amazing.

The Democrats believe if we play nice and instead of real interrogations we ask prisioners very politely what we need to know. They want arrested terrorists to have a trial by a jury of their peers, provide them with free U.S. attorneys with all the technicalities that defraud our legal system.

They want to pull out of Iraq, allow North Korea and Iran to produce nuclear weapons and trust whatever they tell us.

When we have another 911 they will ignore it just as they did when Clinton tolerated all the bombings in the U.S. and U.S. facilities abroad.

They want to focus on global warming, abortion, gay rights, women's depression and pretend we have no one wanting to destroy both the U.S. and Israel.

First thing is first... we have already lost credibility, respect, and our image abroad has been screwed up for sometime ( all of 6 years + ) So leaving Iraq wouldn't make it any worse than it is right now!!!! Hello!! What planet do you live on??!!!

How is the Republican's way working??? What have the Republican's done that they can consider a success within this entire, mess of a situation we created?? What "Good" has come out of it? Nothing!!!! The worst thing is, we started this!! We created this mess for ourselves. We invaded the wrong country for starters.....because Saddam Huessien was not a threat to America. He wasn't the best guy in the world & dont think for a second thats what I am saying....... but he had no WMD, he had no chemical/biological weapons program, (everything was destroyed in the 90's) We didnt go after Osama or focus on that region. None of the terrorists who committed the attacks agianst us on Sept 11th were from Iraq, by the way. So why did we invade Iraq? Hate to say it but we created more terrorists by invading their country. Saddam did a better job then we are..... not to mention they keep telling us they want us to leave! All the while Iran and North Korea are seeking Nuclear Weapons capability...and by the looks of things they are doing a fantastic job!! Way to go Republicans!!!

I think that we should start a timetable and say this is how much time you have before we are gone... and if they want to have a working democracy then they will have it! Let it be their decision! But we shouldnt make that for them! I think we should have a special op's force - ( undercover style/ like a secret agent type) living in Afghanistan, speaking the language, blending in with the same people that live their, and finding out information all the while, hunting terrorits and their organizations in secret, most likely catching them easliy if we really wanted to. But being in the middle east, with bright red bulls eyes on each of our soilders back is not the way you fight people like this, because we are not fighting an average war like the past. This is different. We have to realize that. We also need to work on International relations a whole hell of a lot better. Bush has no forgein policy what so ever. You need to have a good foregin policy as President and his is vurtually non existent. If he was smart enough to sustain such relationships we might be doing better on this war on terror, working with other nations to help try to end these things before they get his out of hand. But we arent still and its almost 2007!

I think it's interesting that we've been following Bush's "plan" for years now, it's a total failure, but somehow the Democrats are the bad guys because they can't serve up a step-by-step plan to clean this mess up. Give me a break! Do you know what the really bad news is: This situation is so bad there may not be a good solution to it. We've already lost our credibility and respect in the world. You really can't see that? I'm not sure what the Democrats' plan is either, but what's really scary is that I don't know what Bush's plan is, and he's the one in charge. As far as I can tell he's trying to prevent Iraq from decaying into civil war by pretending not to notice that it has already done so. He's sticking his head in the sand. Why don't you stop doing the same?

Hey Hey people! don't yell at him ,he is just a misguided youth. His daddy is probably a rep. now listen kid you use strong language telling us the president did not lie, but hon . He did lie. Now I am sorry if this rocks your foundation, but please don't tell us how warped our minds are when it is the reps who are turning gay and molesting children right in front of the whole world in the senate and congress. Now you are going to have to actually read some of the articles on your high and mighty party to understand what is going on here. Mr bush is a criminal , can you say criminal? He is also a liar, can you say Liar? If you don't know the definitions of these words look them up. then go to bed dear and try the nightmares us citizens have been having ever sense Mr bush either let them take our twin towers down or as I suspect had some thing personally to do with them coming down. I know it is terrifying isn't it. Don't worry tho we are not ever going to let that man do anything else bad to us and believe me hon, we will protect you too. You are one of us no matter what, isn't it great that we can disagree so much and voice our feelings and still protect and care for one an other? that son is FREEDOM and it is wonderful isn't it?

Most if now not all Democrat elected officers are attorneys. They do not know the way to create wealth simplest scouse borrow it, similar to they did whilst being attorneys. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for cannibalism.

Neither ruling party do. They are in cahoots.

Barry Goldwater was a Conservative Libertarian that was also a USAF General. Dr Kelley Ross is Libertarian that graduated 22 years before me at US Grant High "Lancers" at Van Nuys California 91401.

Grant High was a great place and for a while I lived within 1 mile from it.

If fear was what the American people wanted to offer the world, we would be uhmm Nazis.
No political party has a better way, one may have a good suggestion on one point and another may have a good suggestion on another point. I am registered Democrat so I can vote. But I am not such a fool as to vote a party line. If the Repuclican Canidate is better, they get my vote. That is how things work.

Wait a second. You're saying that they won't know how weak we've become *until* we pull out? What about now? How convinced do you think they are that we're strong?

The solution is to impeach Bush, nationalize U.S. oil interests, and join the global community as citizens rather than plunderers.
