Yes but I remember that I have only failed in this area of my life and I turn in another direction, and I find that I'm better at other things. We all have our own gift in life and it is up to us the seek and find it and remember to never give up. The same goes is you are in a relationship and you're doing your best to keep it alive but in the end you find it's just not working for you, then at least you know you tried, move on to other people who are more into you.
Being in love should never be an effort, it should just be spontaneous.

the question could not be more vauge. everyone has tried to prevent something and failed at some point in their lives. Try to keep from getting the flu, failing a test, not making varsity, getting rejected.

Of course, that is what happens in life and what makes you a stronger person more capable of handling the situations you will face in the future.
